Keyword Research Tool

Saturday, July 8th, 2006

I was recently directed to a great tool for doing keyword research. It uses the overture database and then estimates the monthly searches in Google and MSN (probably from released search percentages).

The best part of it is that it offers keywords that are similar and related and shows you numbers for those as well. This save you a lot of time digging through overture, and estimating all the numbers yourself in a spreadsheet (or am I the only one that does that).

They also supply quicklinks for every single option you could think of:

Overture Bid Price
Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search results
Yahoo! Suggest
Digital Point Wordtracker
Nichebot
Google Trends
AdWords Google Traffic Estimator
Google Suggest
Google Synonym
AdWords Keyword Tool

This puts some of the best market research tools all on the same page! You can use all of the tools, or none of the tools.

This can be found at SEO2020.com’s Keyword Suggestion Tool

Flock You

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

I recently wrote a great article about the Best Blogging tool ever over at Blogging On Empty, my blog all about blogging efficiently for those of us who don’t blog full-time.

The article is titled Best Blogging Tool Ever - Flock You and truly is the best blogging tool ever. In fact I am blogging from the browser right now on this post as I read in the background my post about how great Flock is.

Having 11 blogs I am always looking for more efficient ways to get my news and blog and I just happened to find both of those tools in one great web browser.

Head over to my article and see the great review I wrote about why you need to start using Flock as your browser of choice. Just try it out and I’m sure you’ll be hooked. And for those of you who are anti Microsoft, don’t worry, it’s based on Mozilla.

June 2006 Earnings Report

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

June was a good month. I added a few more ways to make money from my blogs and blog network as well as increased my domain name portfolio and began using namedrive to earn income from those names. I also began running chitika ads again which has helped the bottom line. Still a lot of work for such a little payoff but at least we’re seeing growth.

AdSense - 13.45
Chitika - 2.00 (unaudited)
Text-Link-Adds - 2.44
NameDrive - 4.05

Total - 21.94

Due to some good affiliate action my earnings this month have already surpassed June totals so I am excited to see what the next 26 days are going to bring!

Some others like me reporting their earnings for the month of June are

Burt’s osworld - AIS earner reporting as always
Dollar a Day - increases earnings
jc commerce has a banner week, over $100 a day!

Feel free to post you earnings in the comments section to let us know how you’re fairing, or post a link to your page that describes your earnings if I missed you.

Completed my first triathlon. Swim was crazy, the bike and run went fine. Swim was in rough water, and there was a little body surfing at the end. Not a bad day, 400 m swim, 13.5 mile bike, 3.2 mile run, 1:16.

As I am unable to get everything I would like to done in a week, I am lowering my days of running and swimming and biking to 2 days a week. We’ll see how that goes.
