Yes you are right, generating content is not an easy way. But some bloggers copy the content from other website and rephrase that content and they use it. Best way to generate content, hire quality content writers for generating unique and quality content and pay for them. Nice post to read, thanks for sharing your thoughts with others.

I can’t restart apache after editing httpd.conf — sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache

It keeps saying I do not have permission to do this. I think it wants me to do this as root, however I can’t access root on EC2 either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx so much for this. I’m just starting out with AWS and am moving a huge MovableType based site to EC2. I was pretty lost until I found this. Even though this is for WordPress, it was so helpful.

Run following commands to fix any wordpress file permission related problems after migration

chown -R bitnami:daemon /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs
find /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs -type f | xargs chmod 664
find /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs -type d | xargs chmod 775
chmod 664 /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/.htaccess
chmod 664 /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-config.php
